About the NSW Women in Planning Network

The PIA NSW Women in Planning Network is your local divisional group for Women Planners, supported by the NSW Division of PIA.

Our Mission

Inspires, supports and advances women throughout their careers, raises the profile of women as leaders in their profession and includes their perspectives and attributes to planning and development policies and programs.

Core Functions

The network will continue the following core functions under the PIA umbrella:

  • The promotion, support and education of woman within the planning and built environment industry within NSW.
    Raising the profile of professional women in planning through facilitation, engagement and professional development.

There are many ways you can become involved with the Women in Planning Network.

What is it you are passionate about? Would you like to be involved in organising and/or running one of our events or programs? There is no formal membership to the network but committee members must be current members of PIA.
